Privacy

The short version

We collect what is needed to send you a shirt and nothing beyond it. We do not sell your information. We never see your card number. There are no customer accounts here, so there is no password of yours for us to lose.

What we collect

• Your email address, collected by Stripe at checkout, so we can send your order confirmation and reach you if something goes wrong.
• Your shipping address, because the shirt has to go somewhere.
• Your order details — what you bought, the size and colour, what it cost, and its status.

We never receive your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s systems. What comes back to us is confirmation that you paid and the amount.

Who it is shared with

Only the companies that make the purchase work, and only with what each one needs:

• Stripe — payment processing, receipts and refunds.
• Printify and the print partner it routes your order to — they receive your name and shipping address in order to print and post the item.
• Google Cloud — hosting and the database this site runs on.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We would disclose it if the law actually required us to, and not because someone asked politely.

Marketing

We do not currently send marketing email. The only email you get from an order is about that order. If that ever changes it will be something you opt into, not something that arrives because you once bought a shirt.

Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to function. We run no advertising trackers and no cross-site profiling. Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout to process your payment and detect fraud.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept while we need them for support, refunds, accounting and tax — tax rules in particular require keeping sales records for several years, so an order does not disappear the moment it is delivered.

Orders placed on Amazon

If you bought one of our shirts on Amazon, you did not check out with us, so the section above on what we collect works differently:

• What we receive. The items in your order, and your name and shipping address (with a phone number, if Amazon includes one), from Amazon’s Selling Partner API. We do not receive or collect your email address.
• Why. Only to print and ship that order. It is never sold, and never used for marketing.
• Who receives it. Printify and the print partner it routes your order to, in order to print and post the item.
• How long. Your name, address and phone number are deleted from our systems automatically within 22 days of your order, whether or not it has shipped by then, and from our encrypted backups within 29 days of your order. The order amount, status and item are kept as tax records.

Questions about an Amazon order go through the contact page, like any other. Give us the Amazon order number and we will find it faster.

Your choices

Write to us via the contact page and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep. Say which order you mean and we will find it faster.

Children

This shop is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will remove it.
